salam abg wan.it is not of being unconsistent. it is about the opinion and ijtihad will change according to time and place. as long as we are open and accept the previous mistake that we had done, we can always generate new ideas and accept the ‘hikmah’.
remember imam as syafie, he did change a few fatwa when he move to egypt. he is not ashame on doing that.
Not a suprise. In a hadith, it was said that a person can be a muslim in themorning and became non-believer when evening comes.
Imagine if one day can do just that.
What would you expect a 9 years can do to you.
